Quantile Slider

Adjust the slider to represent the range of Quantile measures found within your classroom.

QTaxons

Each QTaxon is color-coded to indicate its relationship to the Quantile range of your class. The color green is used to indicate that a QTaxon is below the minimum Quantile measure of any student within your classroom. The color orange is used to indicate that a QTaxon is within the Quantile range of the students within your classroom. The color red is used to indicate that a QTaxon is higher than the maximum measure of any student within your classroom.

Resources

Some QTaxons have resources available for your use associated with them. These are presented as either links to other sites or downloadable materials. You're not obligated to use them, but may find them useful in your instruction.

If you find QTaxons without resources, keep checking back. We're always adding to the site.

Directions

Once the standard or state objective to be taught has been identified, adjust the Quantile slider to indicate the range of Quantile measures found within the classroom.

The Quantile Teacher Assistant provides teachers with the knowledge cluster for the standard or state objective they have chosen. Teachers can use the Quantile Teacher Assistant to establish the supportive, prerequisite, and upcoming QTaxons for the skill or state standard they have chosen and to match students to targeted resources. Teachers can also match the student to skills and concepts the student is ready to learn as well as those skills upon which new skills can be built.
